The internet would have you believe that regulation is an aesthetic. That it’s soft and calm and slow — so fucking slow.
And I’ve watched FAR too many women — brilliant, driven, and successful women — fall for this lie.
They let themselves become convinced that who they are at their core is the problem. Because at their core, they’re anything but soft, calm, and slow.
So they do what they think they must, and try to “fix” themselves. They bend, and they bend, and they bend — until they fucking break.
I built this body of work because I am her, and I think you might be too.
After building the thriving business, buying the dream house, and living the “picture-perfect” life, I was still waking up every morning with a pit in my stomach — like I was a fucking imposter in my own success story.
In that season, I didn’t need more “white space.” I didn’t need to “slow down.” I tried both and it didn’t do a damn thing.
It’s crazy, isn’t it? Even as a therapist with a Master’s Degree in my craft, I still fell for the bullshit. I still believed the lie that something was wrong with me because I didn’t fit the narrative of what a successful woman “should” be.
What I really needed — and what I now believe every highly ambitious, high-achieving woman needs — was the permission to do what I love, how I love to do it.
That required me to rebuild my entire business and the way I operated inside of it. Only then did I feel the change — the change I know you want too.

Absolutely! The Mixtapes are the perfect complement to the work you are doing with your therapist and can provide an additional layer of support as you work through the hard shit in your life. Plus, Mixtape brings in perspectives and support for your business, rather than just focusing on your personal life — which (as you probably already know) is something that most therapists don’t have the experience to adequately support.
No, Mixtape is not a replacement for individualized psychotherapy. If you are looking for more 1:1 support, I recommend exploring Deep Cuts, where we work together in a private mentorship capacity, or completing the Mixtape program in conjunction with 1:1 work with a therapist in your area.
It can be!
