Episode 18: Emotional Power – Holding More So You Can Have More

Filed in All Episodes, Emotional Intelligence — February 8, 2022

About the Episode:

Today we’re talking about emotional power and how much control YOU have over your emotional power.

In episode 18 of the Shamelessly Ambitious podcast, I’m bringing you a real hot conversation, and one that I believe needs to be had more often. This conversation is about duality. It’s about the concept of holding ALL of your emotions, not just the good ones.

Duality is the capacity to hold it all. It is the capacity to hold the excitement, the gratitude, and the joy, AND at the same time the grief, the overwhelm, and the fear, and to recognize that these emotions can coexist. Duality is all about having the self-compassion to know that it’s okay to feel BOTH.

We attract who we are, how we’re showing up, and what we’re experiencing into our lives. So tune in to find out how to hold more so you can have more. Thanks for being here!

Topics Discussed:

  • The negative thoughts and beliefs that make us lose control of our emotional power
  • What we attract and why we attract those things
  • Your emotional power and self-compassion
  • Why I’ve been avoiding parenting-coaching for so long
  • The shame I carried for not being able to figure it all out by myself
  • How your emotions regarding other areas of your life are impacting your business
  • The things I’ve been learning and doing to be able to stand in my emotional power
  • Taking radical responsibility and asking yourself questions that will lead you to aligned action
